Complimentary self-assist wheelchair by Changi Airport
Changi Airport offers complimentary self-assist wheelchairs across our 4 terminals, for use by our passengers and airport visitors. These wheelchairs may be loaned from information counters at each terminal’s departure hall, transit area, and arrival hall. These wheelchairs are available for airport-use only, on a first-come-first-served basis. If you require a wheelchair before they are replenished at the information counters, please contact the staff or virtual agent at the counter to arrange a wheelchair for you. You may also click here to book a complimentary wheelchair ahead of your arrival at Changi Airport.
Complimentary wheelchairs are also available for loan at Jewel Changi Airport. You may find them at Jewel’s concierge counters.
Wheelchair service by your airline
All airlines offer wheelchair service to their passengers. To ensure your request is met by your airline, you are encouraged to book the wheelchair service from your airline and/or travel agent when you book your flight, up to at least 48 hours before flight departure. Please contact your airline for assistance for requests made less than 48 hours before your flight departs.
Airlines may facilitate passengers with differing degrees of reduced mobility according to their needs. Your airline’s Special Assistance staff may ask if you are able to walk short distances. Please note that this helps to identify the level of assistance you require, so that you can be served better. During periods of high service demand, some waiting time may also be expected for the airline’s wheelchair service.

Concierge wheelchair service by an airport partner
A wheelchair concierge service is available for more personalised assistance during your journey through Changi Airport. For a fee, our airport partner will assign a dedicated assistant who will guide and assist you throughout your journey in the airport. Where time permits, the assistant can also guide you to explore airport attractions and enjoy duty-free shopping.
