Scientific name: Leptospermum madidum
Leptospermum madidum is a small tree native to Australia. They can grow up to a height of 4m and have bright green, sharp-tipped small leaves and white flowers. They are commonly known as ‘Weeping Tea-Tree’ because early Australian settlers used the tree’s leaves to make tea. The trees are usually found near rivers as they thrive in wet habitats.
