Each qualifying receipt may only be redeemed once, and reservation of Meet and Greet pass is on a first-come-first-served basis and subject to availability.

Terms and conditions for your and your child’s/ward’s participation in the Changi Airport Sanrio Meet and Greet activity (“Event”)

  1. The Event is organised by Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (“CAG”), Sanrio Southeast Asia Pte. Ltd. (“Sanrio SEA”) and our appointed vendor Rainmaker Shows Private Limited.

  2. By participating in and/or allowing your child/ward to participate in this Event, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Conditions”) and our Privacy Policy (available at https://www.changiairport.com/en/privacy-policy.html), which together constitute a binding agreement between you and Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (“CAG”), governing your and/or your child’s/ward’s participation in the Event. 

  3. In these Conditions, references to ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ mean CAG, CAG’s appointed contractors (as described in the Parts below), our respective subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as our directors, officers, agents and employees or independent contractors as the context requires.

  4. Subject to these Conditions, you shall be entitled to reserve a pass to meet and greet Sanrio characters, upon minimum spend of S$50 (S$80 in Supermarket and Jewel) (“Qualifying Spend Amount”) in a single same day receipt from any participating Retail or F&B outlets at Changi Airport Terminal 1, 2, 3 and 4 public areas, and Jewel (collectively “Changi Airport Public Areas”). Each qualifying receipt may only be redeemed once. Reservation of Meet and Greet pass is on a first-come-first-served basis and subject to availability. 

  5. Each valid receipt (“Qualifying Receipt”) qualifying you to redeem a Meet and Greet pass must be for purchases meeting or exceeding the Qualifying Spend Amount from any participating outlet in Changi Airport Public Areas, and must also be made via one of the following qualifying payment modes (“Qualifying Modes of Payment”):
       
    • Cash (in local currency or equivalent amount in foreign currency)
    • NETS and Credit cards
    • Changi Pay

  6. The following receipts are not eligible for redemption of Meet and Greet passes: receipts from banks, money changing facilities, financial services, online purchases, website or app ticket purchases for Jewel Attractions, SISTIC / AXS / SAM payments, Cash Card / Stored Value Cards Top-Up transactions, medical clinics, topping up of gift cards or loyalty cards, and vouchers, temporary outposts operated by non-CAG tenants at promotional spaces such as Jewel Atrium and Cloud9 Piazza, Lounges, passenger meeting services, tour and travel services, online/kiosk purchases with electronic receipts, car rental services, airport shuttle and transportation counters, Tobacco products,  postal services, telecommunication outlets including StarHub, pay-per-use, ambassador and airline lounges, Changi Lounge, Changi Recommends outlets and service counters, Changi Experience Studio, Jewel attractions such as Canopy Park, Sky Nets, Hedge Maze and Mirror Maze, MindChamps Preschool, other ticketed events on Changi Playpass including but not limited to Carnival at T3 and Cosmic HydroPark, baggage storage services counter, YOTELAir and Crowne Plaza Hotel and all F&B outlets within the hotels’ premises)

  7. Payments made via other payment modes not mentioned under clause 5 above (including but not limited to Changi Dollar vouchers, Changi Rewards eVoucher, Changi Gift Cards, Changi Pay vouchers, or other vouchers issued by tenants in the airport such as NTUC vouchers (‘Alternative Modes of Payment”) are excluded from the computation of the Qualifying Spend Amount. For the avoidance of doubt, the Qualifying Spend Amount may only be made via Qualifying Modes of Payment, even if Alternative Modes of Payment are also used within the same transaction.

  8. All redemptions must be made via the Changi App with a valid Changi Rewards membership account. 

  9. Only receipts issued for purchases made from 1 November 2024 to 22 December 2024 (“Event Period”) shall be eligible as Qualifying Receipts. ​All Meet and Greet passes must be redeemed via the Changi App. 

  10. Each Qualifying Receipt shall only be eligible for one (1) redemption via Changi App per Qualifying Receipt regardless of amount spent in excess of the qualifying spend. 

  11. Each Qualifying Receipt may only be redeemed for a single Meet and Greet pass for a single session within seven (7) days from the date of the purchase (“Valid Period”). The stipulated time period for the redemption is strictly not extendable.

  12. Meet and Greet sessions will only be made available for registration only one (1) week prior to its scheduled date, i.e. Meet and Greet sessions on 9 November 2024 will only be made available for registration from 3 November 2024.

  13. Each user is entitled to redeem a maximum of two (2) Meet and Greet pass for each unique session.

  14. All Meet and Greet passes registered for are final, non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-refundable.  

  15. All Meet and Greet passes registered for, must be exchanged for physical official passes for the Event. 

  16. Physical official Meet and Greet pass will be issued thirty (30) minutes before each session at the Meet and Greet queue area in Terminal 3 Departure Hall Central Event Area

  17. In case of no show and/or late arrival, the Meet and Greet pass registered for, will be forfeited and no refunds will be provided. We will not be liable for any of your losses or expenses due to the failure to comply with the provisions.

  18. Only participants and their family/group with the official Meet and Greet pass are allowed entry for the Event.

  19. One (1) pass will entitle the participants to one (1) photo per family/group for a single Meet and Greet session only 

  20. Participants should use their personal camera or camera phones to take the photographs. 

  21. Each Meet and Greet session is limited to thirty (30) minutes only.

  22. CAG reserves the right to refuse entry to any participant if they fail to meet any entry requirement for any activity, as stipulated from time to time by CAG at its sole discretion.

  23. Participation in the Event is strictly at your own risk. By participating and/or allowing your children/wards to participate in the Event, you declare that you and/or your children/wards are in good mental and physical health and do not have any health condition (including but not limited to motion sickness, heart, neck, back or leg conditions) that may be detrimental to your and/or your children’s/wards’ well-being in participating in the Event, and further that neither you nor your children/wards are under the influence of any alcohol and/or medication that may influence your/their ability to participate in the Event.

  24. To the fullest extent permitted by law: (i) CAG, its subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as their directors, officers, agents and employees shall not be responsible for any damage or personal injury to you or to any participant in this Event, and/or loss or damage to any property, such as phones, cameras and cameras equipment for the phototaking, sustained as a result of their participation in this Event, including without limitation all direct loss, indirect or consequential loss, cost and expense, or loss of profits; and (ii) By participating in and allowing your child/ward to participate in this Event, you agree to indemnify CAG, its subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as their directors, officers, agents and employees against all claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses which may be made against or suffered by CAG, its subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as their directors, officers, agents and employees, in respect of any injury (including fatal injury), loss or damage to property arising out of your and your child’s/ward’s participation in this Event. 

  25. Further, CAG reserves the right to refuse or terminate the participation of any person in the Event (or any part of the Event) for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to unsafe or unruly behaviour that may result in harm or damage to that person or any other persons and/or property.

  26. To promote and advertise the Event, CAG has engaged authorised photographers and videographers to take photographs and/or video recordings of the Event. By participating in the Event, you consent to being photographed and recorded by CAG’s authorised photographers and videographers as guests/customers at the Event and consent to the use of such images, films or recordings for public transmission and for the marketing and publicity materials of CAG. Further, by participating in and allowing any child/ward under your care to participate in this Event and providing your personal data and the personal data of your child/ward to CAG, you consent to the collection, use or disclosure of the personal data of yourself and your child/ward, in accordance with CAG’s Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 as may be updated from time to time, for CAG’s reasonable business purposes including without limitation: to administer any relevant lucky draw, statistical analyses, marketing, survey participation, to ensure compliance with and to enforce these Conditions, to address queries CAG may receive in relation to your or any participant’s participation in this Event, to protect the safety and security of CAG staff and property, and/or to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and/or orders of court requiring disclosure of your and/or any participant’s personal data. 

  27. CAG’s decision on all matters relating to this Event and these Conditions is final, conclusive and binding on all.

  28. CAG reserves the right to amend these Conditions without further notice to you, and you agree to be bound by such amended Conditions. 

TERMS OF CONTEST

1.      Acceptance Of Terms And Conditions

By participating in the “Ms. Yuko Yamaguchi Autograph Session Social Media Giveaway” (the “Contest”), each Participant confirms that he/she has read, understood and agrees to be bound by these terms & conditions set out herein, including any other requirements set out in any Contest-related promotional material, and all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications thereto as may be made from time to time (the “Terms and Conditions”).

1.1   This Contest is organised and administered by Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“CAG”).

1.2   As a condition of entry into the Contest, each Participant affirms and represents that he/she has read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agrees to be bound in all respects by these Terms and Conditions. 


2.      Contest Eligibility Criteria

2.1   This Contest is open to participants who (each a “Participant” and collectively the “Participants”):

          a.   are aged 18 years and above (as at the date of their participating in the Contest);

          b.  are ordinarily resident in Singapore; and

          c.  are not persons within the Excluded Categories.

Excluded Categories” refer to:
          a.  Directors and employees of CAG and any of the subsidiaries, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, CAG’s                              appointed agencies, vendors, auditors, including any other persons who are involved in organising, promoting                              and/or conducting the Contest;

           b.  Immediate family members of persons who fall within the class of persons referred to above. “Immediate family                         members” refer to spouses, children, parents, parents-in-law and siblings;

           c.  Any person who is or becomes insane, deceased, insolvent or is the subject of a criminal investigation, or has                                  criminal proceedings instituted against him/her in any jurisdiction (at the time of entry and/or the draw);

           d.  Any person whose participation in and/or association with the Contest may cause (in the sole and absolute opinion                  of CAG) and/or the Contest, any disrepute, contempt, scandal, ridicule, or cause CAG and/or the Contest to be                            perceived unfavourably; and

            e. Any other person or class of persons deemed ineligible or notified by CAG as being ineligible from time to time.

2.2   CAG reserves the right (in its sole and absolute discretion) to determine the eligibility of any person in relation to the              Contest, and CAG may at any time during the Contest disqualify any person from participating in the Contest without            providing any reason if it determines that such person does not meet the eligibility criteria above.

 

3.      Contest Mechanics And Conditions Of Participation

3.1   The Contest shall commence from 28 November 2024 (1800hrs, Singapore Time) and end on 5 December 2024 (2359hrs, Singapore Time) (the “Contest Period”).

3.2   To take part in the Contest on Facebook, Instagram, and Red, each Participant shall comment within the Contest post with the correct date of Hello Kitty’s birthday, why they deserve to win, and tag another official user of the platform.

3.3   To take part in the Contest on Telegram, each Participant shall via the Microsoft form shared in the post, answer the following questions:

        a.  “What is the date of Hello Kitty’s birthday?”

        b.  “Why do you deserve to win?”

3.4   The most creative answers stand a chance to win. Refer to paragraph 4.1 for the total number of winners.

3.5   Each Participant represents and warrants that any personal data the participant discloses to CAG is complete and                    accurate. Each Participant shall fully indemnify CAG against any loss or damage that may result from his or her                            breach of this clause.
 

4.      Prizes

4.1   The following prize has been allocated for the Contest (the “Prize”) on each social channel: Passes to attend Ms. Yuko            Yamaguchi’s autograph session on 14 or 15 December 2024. By participating in the contest, the Prize Winner(s)                          confirms that they are available for the event. For each channel:

            a.      10 pairs of passes on Facebook for 14 or 15 December, 1pm (randomly assigned).

            b.      10 pairs of passes on Instagram for 14 December, 1pm.

            c.      10 pairs of passes on Telegram for 15 December, 1pm or 5pm (randomly assigned).

            d.      8 pairs of passes on Red for 14 December, 5pm.

4.2   The Prize Winner will be selected and contacted by 6 December 2024.

4.3   All Prize Winner(s) will be notified in writing by way of private message to the Facebook, Telegram, Instagram, or Red            account that was used to make the submission on the Contest post. The Prize Winners must respond and claim the                  Prize in writing via the same private message chat within 3 days from the time of the notification, failing which the                    Prizes shall be treated as unclaimed and deemed forfeited. Prizes must be claimed in the manner and by the date                      notified by CAG, which may be changed at CAG’s absolute discretion.

4.4   The Prize Winner shall provide proof of identity, age and residency and such other documents as CAG may                                     reasonably  require. In the event that the Prize Winner is unable to provide, he or she shall be deemed to have                             forfeited the Prize.

4.5     The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit, goods or benefits-in-kind,                           unless otherwise stated. There shall be no refund or exchange for any partially used or unused prize. CAG reserves                   the right to replace or change the Prize without prior notice.

4.6     Should the Prize Winner not be able to attend the event, the Prize will be deemed to have been forfeited. Due to                        capacity limitations per day and per time slot, requests for changes to a different date or time will not be                                          entertained.

4.7     CAG reserves the right to deny or claw back any Prize awarded to any Prize Winner should the Prize Winner                                 subsequently be found to be disqualified or ineligible to participate in the Contest. CAG’s determination on all                             matters relating to the Contest shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence and/or appeals will be                         entertained.

4.8     All Prize Winners whose Prizes have been unclaimed/unredeemed or forfeited hereunder shall not be entitled to any              payment or compensation. Failure to respond to any notification from CAG in relation to any Prize won, to take the                  necessary steps to claim and/or redeem the Prize, or to provide any information or material required for the                                  claim/redemption/collection of any Prize, shall be deemed a failure to claim/redeem such Prize. CAG reserves the                      right to select another winner in CAG’s absolute discretion or donate any unclaimed or unredeemed Prizes to                              charities of its choice.
 

5.      Personal Data & Privacy

5.1   By participating in the Contest, you confirm that you consent to the collection, use, processing and disclosure of your              data (including personal data) in accordance with Changi Airport’s Privacy Policy, which is available at:                                              https://www.changiairport.com/en/privacy-policy.html. Such personal data includes but is not limited to your full                      name, contact details, date of birth, home address, flight arrival and/or departure details. We may also collect                               information that is sent automatically by your web browser, computer, mobile phone, tablet or other device, if                             applicable.

5.2   Each Participant represents and warrants that any personal data the participant discloses to CAG is complete and                    accurate. Each Participant shall fully indemnify CAG against any loss or damage that may result from his or her                            breach of this clause.
 

6.      GENERAL CONTEST TERMS & CONDITIONS

6.1   CAG reserves the right to:

           a.      Refuse the participation of any person in the Contest and/or disqualify any participant of the Contest for any                               reason whatsoever, including but not limited to unsafe or unruly behavior that may result in harm or damage to                           that person or any other persons; and

           b.      Change or vary these Terms and Conditions as it deems fit, without prior notice. Should any dispute arise, CAG’s                         decision on all matters relating to the Contest and these Terms and Conditions is final, conclusive and binding on                       all participants and no correspondence will be entertained.

6.2   CAG makes no representation, warranty or undertaking whatsoever as to any implied terms or conditions or as to the             accuracy, completeness and timeliness of any content or information regarding the Contest contained on its official                  website, or on any Contest-related collaterals/materials. All information is accurate at time of print/publishing. CAG                shall not be liable for any dissatisfaction, damages, loss, injury or inconvenience arising from the materials published                or printed in relation to the Contest.

 

6.3   CAG reserves the right to amend, modify or delete any content and information regarding the Contest on its official                 website or on Contest-related collaterals/materials; to correct any errors in any notified Contest mechanics,                                 evaluation of the Contest submissions, or Contest results and Winners and to vary or amend these Terms &                                   Conditions at any time, without providing any prior notice. Any such changes shall be effective and binding once it                     has been updated on CAG’s official website. CAG accepts no liabilities arising from or in connection with these                           corrections or amendments, including without limitation any liabilities from the change in the Winners resulting from             the correction.

6.4   In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms & Conditions and any other form of publicity collaterals                           relating to a Contest, these Terms & Conditions shall prevail.

6.5   These Terms & Conditions may be translated into another language other than English. In the event of any                                       inconsistency between the English version and any other translation hereof, the English language version shall                             prevail.

6.6   All decisions made by CAG regarding the interpretation and application of these Terms & Conditions or on all matters            relating to a Contest shall be final and conclusive in each case.

6.7   All Winners will be selected at CAG’s discretion based on the rules or criteria set for the Contest. CAG is not obliged               to entertain any correspondence relating to the decisions of CAG.

6.8   CAG reserves the right to cancel the Contest if circumstances arise outside of its reasonable control.

6.9   Participants acknowledge that the Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with the social media site or platform on which it is hosted.

6.10  These Terms & Conditions are not intended to confer rights to any third party under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B).
