2. How many rewards can I earn?

There is no limit to the number of redemptions each user can redeem, as long as you meet the spending requirement and while stocks last.

1.What is a liquid account?

Liquid Account is the e-money account to be linked to your Changi Pay account for purposes of overseas payment. Liquid Account allows users to store e-money (top-up via PayNow) and use Changi Pay to make overseas payment at participating merchants via the Alipay+ network.

2.Who can register for a Liquid Account?

Changi Pay users with a Singpass account will be able to register and use their Changi Pay-linked-Liquid Account.

Please check that your mobile phone’s internet connection is stable.

For Changi Pay QR transactions:

If your payment is rejected, please check with your issuing bank for linked credit card transactions. 

For Alipay+ transactions overseas:

If your payment is rejected, ensure that you have enough money in your Liquid Account for the transaction and / or have not hit the e-wallet cap of S$5,000 and/or 12 months rolling period cap of S$30,000. For payments in China via Alipay+ network, please note that the Chinese regulatory limits are as follows: 

  • RMB35,000 per transaction, and
  • RMB350,000 in a year.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

1. This Promotion is organized by Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd. (“CAG”)

2. By participating in this Promotion, all participants shall be deemed to have read, understood and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions and all amendments, additions, replacements, and modifications hereto as may be made from time to time. 

3.This Promotion is valid from 30 November 2024 until further notice, or while redemption quotas are available, whichever is earlier (the “Promotion Period”). 

ELIGIBILITY

4. To be eligible for this Promotion, you must be:

a. Have activated a Changi Pay account i.e., the digital wallet page in the Changi Application, and have linked it to an existing Liquid Account1.

(each a “Participant”)

JWC CAFÉ PROMOTION

5. To participate in the Promotion, the Participant is required to make a single payment transaction of at least MYR150, using Changi Pay, at any of the following JWC outlets:

  • JWC The Factory 30 Café located at 30, Jalan Mutiara Emas 5/3, Taman Mount Austin, 81100 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia,
  • YOU by JWC Café located at 102, Jalan Sutera Tanjung 8/3, Taman Sutera Utama, 81300 Skudai, Johor Darul Ta’zim, Malaysia and

    (This is referred to as the “JWC Requirement).

6. Upon completion of the JWC Requirement and verification by JWC, the Participant shall be entitled to redeem one (1) complimentary cake with a value not exceeding .  

7. There is no restriction on the number of times a Participant may enter or participate in this Promotion.

8. CAG’s determination on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final, conclusive, and binding. No correspondence and/or appeals will be entertained. 

PALATES & BAGELS BY T.A.M PROMOTION

9. To participate in the Promotion, the Participant is required to make a single payment transaction of at least MYR150, using Changi Pay, at Palates & Bagels by T.A.M (“Palates & Bagels”) located at 10, Jalan Dhoby, Bandar Johor Bahru, 80000 Johor Bahru, Johor Darul Ta’zim, Malaysia (“P&B Requirement”). 

10. Upon completion of the P&B Requirement and verification by Palates & Bagels, the Participant shall be entitled to redeem one (1) complimentary treat from the following options:

  • selected Refreshing Drinks,  

  • Curly Fries and  

  • Lily Bagels.

11.There is no restriction on the number of times a Participant may enter or participate in this Promotion.

12. CAG’s determination on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final, conclusive, and binding. No correspondence and/or appeals will be entertained. 

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS 

13. Any participant who is unable to sign up for a Changi Pay or Liquid Account for any reason whatsoever, and/or is unable to make payment through Changi Pay shall not be eligible for this Promotion. 

 14. All payment services relating to the use of Changi Pay are provided by Liquid Group Pte Ltd (“Liquid”). CAG is marketing the aforesaid payment services on behalf of Liquid. Liquid is the holder of a Major Payment Institution licenses for account issuance, domestic money transfer, cross-border money transfer, merchant acquisition and e-money issuance under the Payment Services Act.  

15. All payment services relating to the use of Changi Pay are provided by Liquid Group Pte Ltd (“Liquid”). CAG is marketing the aforesaid payment services on behalf of Liquid. Liquid is the holder of a Major Payment Institution licenses for account issuance, domestic money transfer, cross-border money transfer, merchant acquisition and e-money issuance under the Payment Services Act.  .

16.CAG reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to terminate the Promotion or to vary the terms and conditions herein at any time at its absolute discretion without further notice. 

17.In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any other form of publicity collateral relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

18. These terms and conditions shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. CAG and all Participants hereby accept the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts to rule on any issues or disputes related thereto.  

1Liquid Account refers to the e-money account provided by Liquid that would be linked to Participant’s Changi Pay account that can be used as an e-wallet for payment. Users are required to have Singapore’s Singpass account which is needed for identity verification during the set-up process.

1. Promotion Period: From 28 November 2024 0:00:00 to 31 January 2025 23:59:59 (GMT +8).

2. Wallet: Changi Pay (an Alipay+ Partner).

3. Merchant(s):  

All merchants in China (Chinese Mainland), Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, The Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and United States where Alipay+ wallet payments are accepted during the Promotion Period (“Participating Stores”).

4. Eligibility:  

This Promotion is only available to all Wallet users visiting China (Chinese Mainland), Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, The Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and United States during the Promotion Period who make payments at the Participating Stores with the Wallet (each, an “Eligible User”).

“Eligible User” also refers to a natural person with legal capacity who uses the Wallet app and its wallet service and not merely a wallet account. To prevent the risk of theft or misuse of an e-wallet account, mobile phone number, mobile device, take note that in the following circumstances: (i) connection on the same mobile phone or mobile device, such as the logging in or activation of multiple accounts; (ii) connection of an e-wallet account or mobile number on multiple mobile phones or mobile devices, such as the logging in or activation on such devices, the Wallet may take steps to verify an Eligible User's identity and/or suspend or terminate any promotion or reward relating to such account(s). The Wallet reserves its right to take further legal action against such infringing account(s) and their relevant user.

5. Discount:

During the Promotion Period, each Eligible User may enjoy a random discount up to 25% discount (discount capped at SGD88.00 per transaction) (the "Discount") on eligible purchases at Participating Stores, subject to the following conditions:

5.1 The purchase must be made with the Wallet;  

5.2 The Discount is applied randomly and automatically during payment. No action required by the Eligible Users. 

5.3 The Discount is limited up to total 70,000 units throughout the Promotion Period and will be given to Eligible Users who make a qualified purchase, on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of 10 units per Eligible User; and 

5.4. There is no minimum spending requirement for each eligible purchases to qualify for the Discount.

6. Unless otherwise specified, the Discount shall not be used together with other benefits, discounts or vouchers at the same time and shall not be transferred to others or exchanged for cash or for other benefits. 

7. Unless otherwise specified, all references herein are in [Singapore Dollar (SGD) and the foreign exchange rate shall be determined by the relevant cooperation agencies (where applicable). The transaction amount and the actual discount applied will be subject to the final amount set out in the transaction record shown on the Wallet receipt. 

 8. In case of refund or return of the purchased items, only the amount actually paid in the local currency of the Wallet (post currency exchange and excluding any applied Discount) will be refunded. The Discount will not be made available again upon a full refund/partial refund.  

 9. Should there be any breach of these Terms, fraudulent or abusive activities detected, we, the Wallet and/or the Merchant(s) reserve the right to (i) deny the qualification for voucher(s), discount(s), and/or benefit(s) offered under the Promotion; (ii) cancel the relevant transaction(s); and/or (iii) claim back any applied discount or benefit from the user.  

 10. We, the Wallet and/ or the Merchant(s) shall have the right to (i) amend, suspend, or cancel the Promotion details and these Terms; and (ii) substitute the voucher(s), discount(s), and/or benefit(s) offered under the Promotion with any other item with similar value, at any time without advance notice and any update will be posted on this page. 

 11. In addition to these Terms, the Wallet website/app terms and conditions and other applicable user agreements (collectively, the “Wallet General Terms”) shall apply. In case of any discrepancy or inconsistency between these Terms and the Wallet General Terms, these Terms shall prevail.  

 12. In case of any dispute about these Terms, we, the Wallet shall have the final decision and discretion.  

 13. For any payment issues or questions, please contact us or use the Wallet’s in-app Contact Us feature to raise a service ticket.  

 14. If a provision of these Terms is held to be illegal, unenforceable, or invalid in any jurisdiction, then that it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, unless that modification is not permitted by law, in which case that provision will be disregarded. The rest of these Terms shall remain in effect as written.  

 15. In the event this Promotion is stopped by any government agency’s orders or must be suspended due to server/network attack or system failure or any circumstances beyond our control, such event shall be regarded as a force majeure event, and we, the Wallet and/or the Merchant(s) shall not be held liable for any damage, loss or claim therein.  

 16. This Promotion is only offered to users of an e-wallet resident in a jurisdiction where such e-wallet can offer its products and services under applicable laws. For the avoidance of doubt, the Wallet does not solicit a user resident in one jurisdiction to sign up to an e-wallet or promotion provided in a different jurisdiction. The Wallet is only regulated in its home jurisdiction.  

 17. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and other translated versions of these Terms and/or promotional materials, the English version shall always apply and prevail.  

18. All tradenames, trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners.

2. Eligibility 

2.1 To be eligible for this Promotion (“Eligible User”), you must use Changi Pay for the payment through Liquid Account. 

3. Definitions 

3.1 “Eligible Transaction” means a successful peer-to-merchant QR payment made through Alipay+ (overseas) or DuitNow (Malaysia) QR, via the Changi Pay digital wallet. 

4. Promotion Mechanics 

4.1 An Eligible User will receive a set of e-vouchers worth S$50 (“e-Vouchers”) with every S$500 nett accumulative spend on Eligible Transactions made overseas during the Promotion Period. Refunded transactions will not be taken into account for the purposes of this Promotion. Each Eligible User may receive a maximum of four (4) sets of Changi Pay e-Vouchers within the Promotion Period. The list of countries accepting Changi Pay include China, Malaysia, Macau, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea. 4.2 The e-Vouchers comprises 5 pieces of S$10 off with no minimum spend Changi Pay e-vouchers. 

4.3 The Promotion is limited to the first 2,000 set of e-Vouchers to be given away on a first-come-first-served basis. 

4.4  The e-Vouchers are valid for a period of 6 months starting from the date of receipt of the e-Vouchers. No extension, refund, or replacement shall be permitted or entertained. 

4.5 The e-Vouchers can be used for purchases at participating outlets at Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public area, excluding Terminal 2 canteen), Jewel Changi Airport and on iShopChangi.com with no minimum spend required and it must be applied by the Eligible User in Changi Pay before processing payment. 4.6 Amounts paid for the purchase of tobacco products (including without limitation cigarettes, cigars, or any other form of tobacco, or any tobacco derivative or substitute) will not be eligible for the redemption of the e-Vouchers. 

4.7 The e-Vouchers (or any part thereof, including any unutilized portion) are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and not exchangeable for cash, credit, goods or benefits-in-kind, unless otherwise stated. The e-Vouchers are subject to such further terms and conditions as may be stipulated on the e-Vouchers. 

5. Fulfilment

5.1 Subject to the fulfilment of the terms and conditions set out herein, CAG shall credit the e-Vouchers to the Eligible User’s Changi Pay wallet account within 14 working days after the end of every calendar month. 

5.2 Eligible Users who qualify for the e-Vouchers will be notified by email, or any other suitable means as CAG may deem fit, within 14 working days after the end of every calendar month. 

6. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS 

6.1  All payment services relating to the use of Changi Pay are provided by Liquid Group Pte Ltd (“Liquid”). Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd is marketing the aforesaid payment services on behalf of Liquid. Liquid is the holder of a Major Payment Institution licenses for account issuance, domestic money transfer, cross-border money transfer, merchant acquisition and e-money issuance under the Payment Services Act. 

6.2 CAG’s decisions on all matters relating to the Promotion are final, conclusive, and binding on all Users. 

6.3 CAG shall not be liable for any damages, loss or inconvenience for any matter arising out of or in connection with this Promotion, and each User agrees to indemnify and hold CAG harmless from and against any and all claims, damage, losses, costs or expenses suffered or incurred by CAG in relation to the Promotion. 

6.4 CAG reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to terminate the Promotion or to vary the terms and conditions herein at any time at its absolute discretion without further notice. 

6.5 In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any other form of publicity collateral relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
