1. This Changi Rewards Festive Gachapon Promotion (“Promotion”) is open to all Changi Rewards members.
2. The Promotion will run from 1 November 2024 at 00:00 (SGT) until 31 December 2024 at 22:00 (SGT) (“Promotion Period”). Participation in the Promotion is subject to and governed by these Promotion terms and conditions (“T&Cs”).
3. Changi Rewards members who meet the Qualifying Spend (as defined below) (“Eligible Members”) are eligible to redeem one (1) Gachapon play pass. Each Eligible Member may be issued the maximum of one (1) Gachapon play pass per day. Redemption of the Gachapon play pass for tokens is on a first-come-first-served basis and can be redeemed from 1 November 2024 at 19:30 (SGT) until 31 December 2024 at 22:00 (SGT), or until the tokens are fully redeemed (“Redemption Period”). Each Gachapon play pass is valid for seven (7) days from the date of issuance, or till the end of the Redemption Period31 December 2024 whichever is earlier. An Eligible Member may redeem more than one (1) Gachapon play pass per day. Redemption of the Gachapon play pass is on a first-come-first-served basis.
4. “Qualifying Spend” means:
(a) a minimum Nett Spend of S$60 for any payment methods (except for payment by Mastercard or Changi Pay) in a single receipt at participating outlets at Changi Airport Public and Transit areas, or on iShopChangi.com, within the Promotion Period, and excludes spend amount for the transactions at Jewel Changi Airport and as stated at paragraph 10 of these T&Cs.
(b) a minimum Nett Spend of S$50 with payment by Mastercard or Changi Pay in a single receipt at participating outlets at Changi Airport Public and Transit areas, or on iShopChangi.com, within the Promotion Period, and excludes spend amount for the transactions at Jewel Changi Airport and as stated at paragraph 10 of these T&Cs.
“Nett Spend” means the final amount paid by the Changi Rewards member after the application of all discounts and vouchers (whether physical or electronic vouchers and including but not limited to Changi e-Voucher, Changi e-Voucher Flexi, Changi e-Voucher Card).
5. Upon meeting the Qualifying Spend, a Gachapon play pass will automatically be issued to the Eligible Member’s Changi Rewards Account which can be accessed via the Changi App. The Eligible Member has to present the Gachapon play pass via the Changi App at the Festive Gachapon counter, located at Terminal 3, Basement 2 (opposite Kopitiam), from 12:00 to 22:00 daily, during the period from 1 November 2024 until 31 December 2024, in order to redeem a token for the Gachapon. To redeem for the token, Eligible Members must present a valid and unredeemed Gachapon play pass to the Festive Gachapon counter staff for redemption and would be required to swipe and redeem the Gachapon play pass in the presence of the Festive Gachapon counter staff. The customer service officer reserves the right to reject any invalid or redeemed Gachapon play pass. An Eligible Member may redeem more than one (1) Gachapon play pass per day for tokens at the Festive Gachapon counter.
6. Each Gachapon play pass can be redeemed for one token. After receiving the token, the Eligible Member can insert it into the Gachapon machine and turn the knob to play. The Eligible Member will receive the prize immediately upon completion of the play.
7. There are a total of 30 different types of prizes to be won, as listed in Annex A (“Prize List”). All Eligible Members who play the Gachapon will receive one (1) random prize from the Prize List for each play.
8. Most prizes will be contained within the Gachapon machine capsules. However, for prizes that are too large to fit inside the capsule, Eligible Members will receive a slip from the Gachapon and will need to present the slip to the Gachapon counter staff to claim the physical prize.
9. The Gachapon play pass and prizes given out from the Gachapon are not exchangeable for any cash, credit, services, or other items from the prize list.
10. Transactions made at the following outlets are excluded from and will not be considered as “Qualifying Spend” for this Promotion:
(a) In respect of Changi Airport - banks, money changing facilities, top up cards facilities and purchases (whether the cards are in physical or electronic form, and including cards sold by tenants with cash top-up capabilities such as food court top up card, gift card, cash card, phone card, etc.), postal and postage services, medical services, bank/airline lounges, transit hotels, hotel reservations, Crowne Plaza Hotel, telecommunication services, car rental services, Changi Recommends, Sift & Pick, airport shuttle and transportation services, passenger meeting services, left luggage services, tour and travel services, dry-cleaning services, temporary event and short-term leased outposts, park and fly parking coupons made on iShopChangi, and such other items or services as may be determined by CAG from time to time. In addition, any amount spent on tobacco products purchased at Changi Airport and any purchase at Jewel Changi Airport will also not count towards “Qualifying Spend”.
11. Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“CAG”) reserves the right to terminate the Promotion anytime, or to vary these T&Cs from time to time, without prior notice. CAG may notify Changi Rewards members of such changes by publishing the revised T&Cs at https://changiairport.com/en/rewards/members-special/festive-gachapon.html or by such other means of communication as CAG may determine in its absolute discretion, from time to time. Any change in these T&Cs shall be effective from the date of publishing the Promotion T&Cs in the foregoing manner.
12. (a) CAG’s decision on all matters in relation to the Promotion will be final and binding on all Changi Rewards members.
(b) The terms and conditions of the Changi Rewards loyalty programme (available at https://rewards.changiairport.com/en/terms-and-conditions.html) shall also apply to this Promotion where applicable.
13. The conduct and administration of the Promotion may require the processing of a Changi Rewards member’s personal data. By participating in the Promotion, (a) each Changi Rewards member agrees that CAG may use his personal data that he has provided to CAG or that CAG holds about him, and disclose same to CAG’s third party service providers, for the purposes of conducting and administering the Promotion, and any other relevant administrative matters before, during and after the Promotion (the “Relevant Purposes”); and (b) each Changi Rewards member consents to CAG’s collection, use, disclosure, storage and other processing of the personal data he has provided to CAG or that CAG holds about him, in accordance with all applicable privacy laws and CAG’s Privacy Policy (https://www.changiairport.com/en/privacy-policy.html). If that Changi Rewards member provides information about any individual other than himself, that Changi Rewards member represents and warrants that he has valid authority and consent from the other individual(s) to do so, and he has ensured that the other individual(s) understands how such information will be used. That Changi Rewards member also represents and warrants that the information he provides is complete and accurate.
14. (a) To the fullest extent permitted by law, CAG makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, with respect to the Promotion.
(b) To the fullest extent permitted by law, CAG, its employees, agents and subcontractors shall not be liable to any participant for any injury, damage, loss, compensation, liability, cost or expense suffered or incurred by the participant arising out of or in connection with the Promotion.
15. The T&Cs are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore and all participants agree to submit themselves to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts in the determination of any matter or dispute arising in connection with the Promotion and/or the T&Cs.
