Terms and Conditions of Permits (Self-Guided Tours)
By applying for a permit, the Organiser agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and undertakes to ensure that all Participants also comply with the same.
Definitions
“Airport” refers to the public areas of Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Changi Airport.
“Activity” refers to:
a. Any public meeting, demonstration or procession;
b. Any school or group orientation, camp or activity whether of recreational or educational nature; or
c. Any show, play, concert, musical performance or any other performance akin to public entertainment in any part of the Airport.
“CAG” refers to Changi Airport Group (S) Pte Ltd.
“Organiser” refers to any person who holds or organises any Activity.
“Participants” refers to any person who participates in any Activity.
“Tour” refers to visits or walkabout.
General Requirements
An online application for a permit is required for all group visits involving 10 or more participants, including supervisors, facilitators, and caregivers.
Applications must be submitted no more than 30 days in advance and no less than 10 working days of the intended date of the Activity or Tour.
The Organiser is responsible for familiarising themselves with the Airport terminals’ layout and for planning the route and locations prior to submitting the application form.
The Organiser must ensure that the Activity or Tour is conducted only on the approved date and within the approved time period as authorised by CAG.
Each Activity or Tour must not exceed 50 participants, including organisers and supervisors. Toddlers and infants are counted as individual participants.
Self-guided tours must be strictly for educational or training purposes. All applications must include a clear programme and objectives for assessment in their application.
The Organiser and all Participants must exercise due care and diligence to ensure their own health and safety, as well as that of the Participants.
The Organisers and Participants must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, rules, orders, and directions issued by CAG while at the Airport.
No surveys or interviews are to be conducted during the Activity or Tour.
Littering or any behaviour that may cause inconvenience or annoyance to passengers and other airport users is strictly prohibited.
Activities must not obstruct any airport operational areas, including but not limited to:
a) Information Counters;
b) GST Refund Counters;
c) Airport offices;
d) Airline operational areas;
e) Retail or F&B outlets; and.or
f) Any other areas in active use by airport staff, management, or tenants.
